Living in Chester, we would normally have arranged for our new oak floors to be fitted by a local company. However the work of Shire Oak had been highly recommended to us and when we met Barry and Nick, they were extremely personable are very professional.
When we engaged their services, we were not disappointed. They were extremely hard working (as indeed was Nick’s son Matt). The work was completed within timescale, with minimum disruption and to an extremely high standard. Our house has been brought into the 21st century! We are delighted with the outcome and would have no hesitation in recommending Shire Oak.

As newcomers to the area it was difficult for us to be sure that we found people of the right quality to install a new oak floor in our two living
rooms and hall. We
looked at websites (Shire Oak’s looked good), and we visited a previous customer of theirs
who spoke very highly of them. What influenced us most of all, however, was the attitude of Nick & Barry
when they

visited us to measure up and explain how they would approach the work.
We made the correct decision. The work was done superbly and the ground floor of our house has been transformed.
